My daughter got married and she & hubby had college loans, his higher than hers. Her then husb. took it upon himself to consolidate in his name and get many deferments D/T his being in the military, which added greatly to the amt, D/T interest. Is there any way these can be seperated, and she make payments on her own amt.? Her x is trying to say crazy stuff like ?Give up the child support & I?ll wipe out your part of the debt etc?? HELP
