My cat is sick because of the other pets, help? - Dog Training ...

Question by Kip: My cat is sick because of the other pets, help?
My cat, Tulsa, is really sickly, because the other animals don?t let her downstairs to eat. We have three cats and a dog named Totty. The dog is a natural herder, and likes to chase the cats. She doesn?t really hurt them, but she chases them and barks and nips them on the back. Tulsa is terrified. Skittles, one of our other cats, is insane, and absolutely hates Tulsa. She attacks her whenever she comes near. Now all the animals are healthy but Tulsa is thin and sickly because she can?t get enough food. She also can?t get downstairs to use the litter box, so she poops in our bathrooms sometimes.
I can?t lock her in my room, because all the animals are always coming in and out and will scratch and meow if i shut the door, and Tulsa doesn?t like being locked in rooms. There?s no other place I can lock her up with food and a litter box. And I can?t give her a special bowl of food because Totty will come in and eat it. And there is no way I can get rid of any of the animals, because we love them all so much. Even though I?m mad at Totty and Skittles for chasing Tulsa off, I could never get rid of them.
I really don?t know what to do. I want to make my poor kitty healthy again? I love her so much, she was my first cat, and I?d be devastated if she died because of this.
Is there ANYTHING I can do? Anything to make the animals more friendly to each other maybe? With extensive training I could probably get Totty to stop chasing the cats, but I have no idea how to deal with Skittles. Any ideas? I can add details if you have any questions.
Thanks so much in advance!
I might be able to put food upstairs, and the baby gate thing is a great idea, but not the litter box :/ we all sleep upstairs, and a litter box would be very smelly?

You can put up a baby gate to one room for Tulsa so that Totty can?t get in. Then you simply have to train Skittles not to eat Tulsa?s food (by using a spray bottle, etc).
