AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Lock and Dam Road and the Baurle Boat Ramp are back open after closing due to flooding.
While these areas are open, Lock and Dam Park is still closed. City officials say that it could be closed for the next two weeks.
Chris Scheuer, deputy director for the Augusta Recreation, Parks and Facilities Department, said in a news release that there are still downed trees in the park and they are working to make the area safe for visitors.
City officials advise everyone to continue practice safe boating and to wear life jackets at all times.
