In future relationships, should I preemptively spy on my spouse?

Well since most of you have found out about infidelity the hard way, do you recommend preemptively spying and keeping tabs on your future spouses.

What I mean by that is that instead of waiting for red flags and then acting on them, you will:

(I use the pronoun her but you can use his in your case)

1.) Put a GPS on her car and check it periodically (weekly or biweekly)
2.) Put a VAR in her car and check that periodically.
3.) Install a keylogger on her computer/tablet and check it regularly.
4.) Put spy software on her phone or at least randomly check her messages and out going calls.
5.) Maybe hire a PI if you have money to annually check up on her.

Some of these are extreme but infidelity is an extreme pain so they may be warranted.

Also, I recommend a prenuptial agreement or a postnuptial agreement for anyone worried about getting robbed again in a divorce.

Of course there is the less nuclear options of:

1.) Establish well-defined boundaries
2.) Always wanting transparency
3.) Strongly discouraging opposite gender friends

However, these may not be as effective as the other methods of discouraging or discovering affairs.
