July 4th Parade Turns To PEPCO Protest March

CABIN JOHN, Md. (WUSA) -? Cabin John residents turned their annual 4th of July Parade into a protest march against PEPCO.

The power remains cut to at least 390 residents in the area in the wake of the June 29th storm that raked the region.

Residents complain that?emails and calls?from PEPCO about the situation is inaccurate, as is the mapping on the utility's website.

PEPCO?admitted Wednesday that a robo-call script used to inform customers about the status of outages can be misleading by generalizing that power in the "area" has been restored when many individual homes remain without power.?? The script will be changed, the spokesman said.
