Leads the development of the strategy and plan for Direct Marketing Center of Excellence with an eye towards continuously enhancing the targeting, creative, and communications as well as project management and operations. Keeps abreast of the best practices in direct marketing and instills them in the Direct Marketing team.
? Overall management of planning, budgeting, and execution of our direct mail, statement, ATM and other 1 to 1 targetable channels in the consumer lines of business.
? Responsible for writing or editing content for direct, statement and landing page channels to ensure compliance with brand standards.
? Champions positioning efforts to ensure that tone is consistent across channels and that brand is reflected in our marketing communications.
? Establishes and monitors processes and measurement to ensure timely, errorless direct marketing packages and inserts
? Works closely with internal marketing relationship managers and direct marketing analytics team to plan and ensure effective use of budgets.
? Communicates with business lines as to results of past programs and influences business lines to continue to invest and test in new offers and channels. Helps develop business cases for investing more in Direct Marketing working closely with marketing relationship managers and business lines.
? Partners with direct marketing analytic resources to develop and execute robust learning agenda for each business line
? Manages external vendors/partners through effective contract negotiation, keeping abreast of new technologies and regular contact with our external partners
? Works with Customer Insights team to enhance list request process, such that it is streamlined and errorless
? Works cross functionally to deliver integrated direct campaigns
