Nokia Lumia "Atlas" for Verizon leaked - News - Know Your Cell

It looks like Verizon is prepping for a Windows Phone 8 announcement, if Nokia's ?Atlas? leak is any indication of things to come. The image, originally posted by @evleaks via Twitter, looks quite similar to the Lumia 820, but it's clearly intended for Verizon's network, as noted by the branding near the bottom of the phone.

Aside from the carrier's logo, the photo denotes only a couple of other noticeable differences from its counterparts. First, there's a slight difference in shape; this one appears to have more rounded corners than the 820 or the 810. And this one also features a front-facing camera.

So far, there's no confirmation on when the Atlas smartphone will hit Verizon's network (or, if this is even really a thing at all), but we're hoping it happens soon. AT&T has already snagged exclusive sales of the Lumia 920 this holiday season, so Atlas would at least give Verizon customers the option to try Nokia's latest Windows Phone 8 lineup.?
