Minneapolis ? The mayor and police chief of Minneapolis are expressing outrage over the behavior of two Minneapolis police officers in Green Bay.

Mayor R.T. Rybak says he's "appalled and disgusted" by the officers' behavior he saw on a video.

Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteau apologized to Green Bay police for the officers' behavior.

The officers were suspended Friday without explanation.

The Green Bay report says the off-duty officers, who are white, used racial slurs to describe a group of black men they scuffled with on a sidewalk during the early morning hours of June 29.

The Star Tribune reports the officers felt Green Bay police weren't doing enough to find the men involved in the confrontation so they went to a police station to complain.
