A home inspector would also look for things such as worn roof shingles, gaping siding panels, cracked or broken windows, warmed doors, leaky faucets, etc.? All of these things would reduce the efficiency of the home, again increasing the amount of money that goes to the various utility companies each month.

Along with using the services of a professional inspector to keep the home properly maintained, it would be to your advantage to learn everything you can about potential areas that would cause problems.? With this, you could identify problems and fix them on our own, again before things spiral out of control.? Literally, hundreds of different things should be checked to keep your home in proper working order.? With this, you would have a safe, comfortable place to live but also a home that is energy efficient and therefore, not costing you serious money.
